Large addressing

LARGE ADDRESSING is a hard drive addressing scheme which overcomes the 528 megabyte address limit of BIOS. The BIOS must be capable of recognizing Large addressing. If the BIOS can recognize the Large addressing, the 'Large MODE' will be made available as a selectable option for the drive in BIOS setup. This option must be selected correctly prior to the drive's installation otherwise the drive may not be formatted correctly.
